I just got word that the Citicar was just loaded into the back of a truck.

Inside was a classic Jaguar and some really fancy motorcycle.

Apparently the money the freight company gets for moving my car is just gravy.

No, I am not.

Last night, I drove the Electro-Metro over ten miles and clocked the recharge energy usage. It came to about 280 watt-hours per mile or roughly 130 eMPG.

I was working on the motorcycle this past Sunday, as it was having really strange problems. I tracked it down to that bad battery post. Worked great all summer for a home-brew repair, but it has finally failed. Time to take it to a battery repair place!

Recumbent exercise bike? Exercising while laying down, what a concept, now how to get paid for not working.

Nice work getting the car Ben.

My Citicar came with sun-baked seat belts that were 'crumbly' at best. I replaced them with a set from a Jaguar (about the only ones at the junkyard that were the right length).

Perhaps not an Electric Jag - but that 1% surely improves the performance...
