One thing that I have learned from this forum is that most modifications work for most people, but there are exceptions for almost everything, and they really obsess about testing modifications to see how much of a difference they make.
I think they have a point.

Well, I gues I should elaborate....
I had put a body kit on the Q and didnt want to clse the bottom scoop.
On the Sportage, I was able to put a large vynl piece over the lower opening and it fit perfectly and astheticlly.
the top grill (second pic) is a partial block
i see ...im guessing there shouldn't be much between placing the blocker in front or rear of the grill ...depending on how far back the grill goes? cuz on my 03 seems pretty shallow about 2 inches
going to a try a partial grill block ..on top and full one at the bottom...went to homedepot and bought a large sheet of coroplast .the rest i'll use it for the belly pan
I will need to fill out garage piks but Ive adjusted the front dam on mine to be a spoiler.
This actually left the front openings open now but does not allow masses of compressed air in through the engine bay.
The fans do not run quite as long now but do run awhile at hiway speeds.
The benifits of the front spoiler compensate way beyond the added alternator drag.
I still have a few small items to address yet but new piks coming soon.
