Ok my pic is too big to load so here is the link to the companies web site Cervélo Bikes 2010 - Aero Road Bikes - S1

I have the 09 modle thing is light and very fast I got Shimano 6600 series parts. I can go 50km in 1h on the road not so good in the rain or if you hit loose pavement (I have and hit the curb head first at 40km!). Clip pedles I will not switch to the snap pedles just yet something about having to twist and pull to get my foot loose bugs me. Full gear and Race Helmet (need to slip through the air. This bike is my speed fix get a few WTH looks from motorist when I keep up with em. In winter I use a mountain bike I used to cruise in the car but do the same on 2 wheels now is much better.

While most would say a speed bike has its trade off it dose and if your going to use it just to cruise around at slow speed and leave it in a bike rack get something else. This thing is aero dynamic Wind tunnel tested and $$$$ In a full aero position I hit 52km while pedaling then backed off as I had a hill coming up and it was scary traving over the speed limit lol.

Only thing I might change is buying a set of carbon fibe Zip wheals. Over the winter.

I finally got around to posting these. I've actually had this bike since May 14, 2010. It's a Rans Tailwind recumbent. I absolutely love it and have been commuting 40 miles RT every M, W, F to college instead of using my car. The other bike that I have is going to be a dedicated winter commuter with studded snow tires.

The first day after I bought it and put the rear rack on:

I customized it a little:

Chalupa: Nice recumbent! It looks very comfortable. How's the CdA and rolling resistance?

Thanks Robert. It definitely rolls better than my upright bike and it's a bit more aerodynamic as well.

Here is my new bike trailer. Have been using it to get groceries so that I can eliminate the short trips on my car. More info and picts on my bike blog. I haven't been doing it for a long time yet, but I love how much I can fit in there.

Chalupa, looks like you are doing pretty well in your bike/car comparsion!

The 50 lb. "Guilty Verdict". Now able to pull top gear for extended periods cuz of the slicks. Couldn't do that with the knobbies @ the same 65 psi.

Well after buying my bike I moved...i'm too far away to ride it anywhere, and traffic consists of SUVs and lifted pickup trucks...I do not have a deathwish.
