I don't believe so--according to every news outlet I've seen, this is McLaren's take on the ultimate grand touring car. (Which I feel conflicted about, because no car that costs $2.5 million and has only 106 examples built will
ever be taken on a road trip).*
That said, if they're shooting for "most aerodynamically efficient car ever," I suspect they have a ways to go. The car looks significantly bigger than, say, an XL1 and has no plan taper. I will be
very surprised if it's sub-C
d 0.25.
*Also, where the hell is luggage for three people supposed to go? Send it up ahead with your convoy while you motor in style? The "ultimate" grand tourer should account for that, I feel.
