Bizarre Little Honda? 2 Seater

I saw a cute little red 2-seater roadster the other day in Mississauga. I think it had a Honda emblem on it but the funny thing is I have no idea what it was. I'll tell you what it wasn't. It wasn't an S2000. This thing was much much smaller that that or a Del Sol and it was also right hand drive so it had been imported from somewhere. Any ideas what it might have been?

It also looked pretty modern... like within the past 10 years.

Found it... "Honda Beat"

Funny enough I noticed an image MetroMPG had posted on Gassavers... Small world.

Cool little machine!

Who -

Sounds like a(n out of production) Honda Beat, probably imported from Japan through Canada :

The Beat was part of a wave of kei car-sized sports cars in the early 1990s; its competitors included the Suzuki Cappuccino and Mazda's Autozam AZ-1. Together they predicted the arrival of the Smart Roadster over a decade later, while Japan would not see a new model of the genre until the recent Daihatsu Copen.
They tightened the rules in the last few years, so the car is harder to import.

I recall seeing a body kit for a Honda Civic that would convert it into a 2 seater convertable little car.
i can't recall the body kit name - I think i have it bookmarked on my home computer.
I recall it looked interesting. I will have to search tonight

Not that great from Aero -
