Not that I'm aware of. I'm not seeing any light sweeping left or right as I'm driving down the road.

I'm looking to disassemble and modify the light assembly. It only operated fer about 10 hours before it started flashing due to low battery power. I'll have to see if I can git a much longer run time by using a set of bigger batteries (D vs the current AAA). The batteries should be able to tuck into a compartment in the wheel pant. I should be able to easily to incorporate the light PCB on the end of the wheel pant.

You might look at 18650(18mmx650mm) size lithium batteries for incensed run time and small package . Lile this on eBay [url]http://www.ebay.com/itm/372059887230[6400w/url]
1 18650 will replace 3AAA with 10 times the runtime

Though those rechargeable lithium batteries seem to be a good idea, wouldn't it be worth to try to feed that light directly through the truck's own wiring?

Maby with a wirless carger but the wheel must b alowed to spin full circle witch would require a wiper/brush system.

It's very early in my rear light build but ideally it would be great to tie into the rest of the lights.
