Hey! (I told them to shut off the lights, but nobody ever listens to me.)

Good Eye!
Ford Escort WAGON Concept/Project...
'Design My Spring Project Car' Competition Submission from a contest on 'another' forum/site. Someone submitted it.
Response to the contest has been 'slow' on the other site, even with $100 in free gas as an incentive.
What do you think about me running the Design Contest on this site? Would be ok or not welcomed? I could offer a similar incentive, maybe that would attract new members to this forum? Maybe I would get some fresh new ideas on my MPG Project. Let me know what you think.

The front bumper cover gave it away - it's very last gen. Mercury Cougar-ish.
I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't open that thread at GS, though I had seen it. Things have been a little hectic lately.
You're *perfectly* welcome to run a parallel competition, though there ain't nobody here but us chickens at the moment! If it happens to land a few more participants, that would be great, and it likely will. The fact that you've got a long timeline is a bonus.

Cool, I think I will run an EcoModder Design Competition also (may actually stretch it out two weeks beyond the GS one due to paycheck reasons ). I will post something up soon.
Thanks

Welcome to EM! The rear window of your Avatar reminds me of the 4th Gen Nissan 300ZX, my favorite Z design. There was also a Nissan that was the successor to the Pulsar that had a similar rear window, but I can't find a picture. It was nicknamed "the egg" by rice-rocketeers.
