Smile Broke the 40MPG Barrier!!!

I filled up yesterday and I hit 40.88 so I will round that up and call it 41!!!

Only thing I did was turn off the A/C because its been so cool here this week. That jumped me from 34mpg to 41!

No EOC and I drove the speed limit on the highway.

I'm going home this afternoon to start some aero mods. This is exciting!

Good on you!

I'm right behind you. My last best was 38.6. When I started here I didn't think I would get much past 30. Now I'm thinking 50.

Good luck. See you at 50.

Awesome. Is an 18% jump in FE from no A/C common? I don't use my A/C, so I don't have any before and after numbers to go off of for my vehicle.

My ultimate goal is 65MPG. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but when I reminded her yesterday that her dad averaged 28MPG when he brought the car out to us from chicago...I think she may be thinking its possible.
