bumper help

I'm replacing my damaged bumper on my 99 Camry and I'm debating on going with an aftermarket one as they are typically taller and will be closer to the grouf as opposed to the OEM height. Some of the ones I'm looking at have more open area tho. Any thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Anything you can do to make your bumper as vertical as possible and push as much air as possible around the sides, as opposed to over the top or under the car will help you out.

I like this if you block out the huge hole in the front as much as possible making the cooling hole as low and close to the center as possible.

The only real air inlet on this car is the one below "Camry" and half of it is taped shut when it's go time.

That's actually the one I was thinking about going with. On my oem bumper I typically block out the entire bottom and just leave the top open for cooling.

bumper

A single,size-optimized and ducted opening at the forward stagnation point is preferred.

Ground clearance is a big issue. Here are the recommendations which will allow the car to stay in one piece

The 'back 40 is fenced and cross-fenced. Optimized for lefts?

Bonus points for it being round. That's a nice write-up.

The factory ride height is quite high on that body style Camry. I'm also lowering the car 2 inches so with that and the aftermarket bumper I should be close go the ground but not too close
