I like the direct democratic nature of right-of-way laws.

When I'm barreling through the traffic circles in Glenwood in my Metro, the AMG Mercedes coupé has to pause.

That roundabout offers a delight of entertainment, doesn't it?

They should have put in a lane for circle eight races.

I always liked vans in general, and some minivans too, because I saw them as an useful vehicle for some leisure activities.

When it comes to view vehicles as personality extenders, it may explain why the new Chevrolet Montana for instance is now available only with crew-cab, in contrast to previous generations which only had a regular cab. Not to mention the turbocharged engine instead of something more austere which would be viewed more favorably by actual professional users.

Odd enough, it has roughly the size the S10 had around 20 years ago.

I didn't enjoy having 3 large vehicles hit my Camry within a year.

I don't see too many smaller vehicles than even my Toyota, but generally they aren't the ones tailgating me when I am driving the speed limit.

When I let my then-girlfriend drive my Subaru her mom said my girlfriend needed to drive a Suburban "For her own safety."

I shuddered, thinking of everyone else's safety, but said "No, she needs a smart car! It has a 5-star crash rating!"

I just thought that she needed to drive defensively, but whatever she was doing in the fast lane on her Can-Am Spyder without a helmet probably wasn't defensive.

The crazy friend who rear-ended a truck with her 1990 Civic briefly drove a Suburban and we were horrified because she refused to put down her phone and did things like rear-end trucks.

I really think there is a correlation between size of vehicle and tendency to drive... less fuel-efficiently.

So, do you imply someone who drives a small econobox like a maniac would be more likely to drive a Cadillac in a much more conservative or efficient way?

I think you are reaching with that one, but I'd be very interested to know if it is true.

I'd suspect a higher correlation with working for a living vs living on a fixed income.

Just like some Uber drivers who currently don't have any other source of income, compared to others who do have a more conventional job, a pension or a retirement monthly income?
