I love this thing!

Have you thought about starting a fuel log here? It would be great to see how the C-max is doing over time.

Not a bad idea!

Hey, question;

My Scangauge shuts down often because I frequently go for well over 60 seconds in EV mode and it goes to sleep. The manual does not mention anything about changing the time out duration. I would love to program it to timeout in 4 or 5 minutes, rather than 60 seconds.

Does anyone here know if that can be done?

Matt

Yup, did that. It still shuts off. I think it is because my C-Max can run for several minutes without the engine running. That may be longer than the SG can deal with.

That is odd. I have a phev kit on my Prius and I can make entire trips in electric mode and it stays on.

ScanGauge also has an adjustable timeout, which resets the current trip after n minutes. I can't recall where the setting is though. I think you might solve it if you set the timeout for longer than any of your EV episodes.
