Can't keep Aerocivic!
At least not easily. So, I'm choosing again to pass it along to the next lucky owner. It's had a full mechanical tune-up, brand new tires, "new" old wheels, all the the suspension is brand new, new CV axles, new brakes, new bearings, new steering wheel, new gauge cluster with tachometer, new battery, and I started reupholstering the interior. It has side- and rear-view cameras. It will also come with an MPGuino color touch. It's basically ready for the road.
To see that it makes its way to a good home, I'm offering to deliver it to its new home. Local pick-up in Michigan is preferable. I'd also prefer whoever has it next doesn't use it as a winter beater - these old Hondas don't hold up to salt well.
Mechanically, what I believe it still needs:
-The driver front frame rail is slightly down and in, making the hood not line up well. It still latches fine. I had planned to put the car on a straightener. I expect this to be an optional few hundred dollars.

Hard to know how much is TMI on the internet.
I have a really cool job offer in New Zealand which I plan to take, and need to get things in order in the next couple of months. Aerocivic should not sit in storage and decay. It's a car that is meant to be driven.

Too much something, I had to look it up.
I'm in the same position. What I say may be seeding disinformation to Google, but it might be that the new slumlord limited the number of vehicles , and forbids parking parallel to the lane.
So long to the Dasher diesel, but I have just conserved it where you've put something into yours.

Dang. I take responsibility. Whenever I start to follow something, bad things happen. At least to cars. Hope the job is everything you want it to be! I’d love to have that kind o excuse to go to NZ.

I have a feeling this isn't the end of Aerocivic's story.

Too bad I'm not in a position to have an extra car for another few months yet. What's happening to your other Insight(s)?

To be decided. I might sell them in the Insight community. The K swap is probably worth $14-18k I'd wager, and I don't expect anyone on here wants to offer me that.
Looks like I have a new owner for Aerocivic. I'm sure he'll announce it.
