Euro spec CBR 125 (if there is one) can do 80+ mph if asked persuasively, I don't see that as dangerously slow ...

A CBR 125 is a good bike if you're not too tall and don't ride too far.

It is one thing to have a bike that "can do" appropriate speed and to actually hit that speed all the time.

I would go for a 250 but mainly because they're so cheap here in France since you need the bike driving license when you don't for 125

I was initially OK with the 125's numbers, since I live near Interstate 80 there are plenty of tractor trucks going by at 55. Some even 50. I'd cruise behind them no problem. Just gotta watch out for maniacs who pass on the right at 75mph and almost clip the left rear of your car/ bike.

Yeah I swear my TTR125 can almost hit 50, since I catch up to cars on my 35mph road, where most people go 40+. But aero forces are probably exponetially harder to overcome for each MPH. (not a scientist in case you thought otherwise)

I have helped some people with illegal Diesel conversions back here. About living in a trailer, it's really odd that it's deemed illegal to do so back there. Anyway, I once considered to get either a trailer or a camper to leave parked at the backyard of my grandma's house.
