Smile Central California new to hypermiling.

Got my car stolen 3 weeks ago.
I only had PLPD not a word from local PD
so I guess Ill never see it again so I needed a new car.

With the looming recession I wont to get a car with as
good a mileage as possible. After doing some looking on
the net I see that a 89 to 94 Geo metro XFI fit the bill
with the draw back of not having A/C. Since I can't live
without A/C I have plans of getting a 95 Geo Metro 5 speed
4 door 3cyl with cold A/C (I have one located and am to buy
it tomorrow if all goes well) I have plans of a taller gear
trans and XFI cam with degree wheel. And maybe a XFI
pcm if I have the right wiring harness (95 was a cutoff year
if I understand things right)

I am a mechanic/Smog tech by trade.

Look forward to 60+ mpg
