2010 Honda Insight $5950, 124k miles
2010 Honda Insight
Maybe outside your radius, but fairly new and fairly cheap... I checked the book value and it said $6050, so you might be able to talk them down if they still have it.

Thanks, but both outside my search radius and my brand radius.
I'm going for a Toyota hybrid this time 'round.

That is way off from what I found in my area! In Phoenix, the least-expensive A-rated battery was $850 and $250 for the transmission!
(I was surprised)

It's been a week and a half now with no new prospects. That's a record. And prices are higher lately at the bottom end of the market.
Patience, I must have.

Ok, I thought your reason for excluding the G2 Insight was purely price.

Just passed 3.5 weeks with no prospects.
I know what's going to happen: I'll gradually get away from my routine of checking the ads several times per day, and just when I stray, someone local will post a killer deal that'll get snapped up before I even know about it.
If there's nothing on the Prius front by mid-August, I'm going to cast a wider net and start considering any reasonably efficient manual transmission car for the next winter beater.

Metro, have you tried using the "email alert" button on craigslist?

I use Kijiji (more popular up here than CL for some reason), and oddly there doesn't appear to be an alert option for searches as detailed as I'm making them.
