I saw the Chevy volt commercial on TV today. Is that even avialible to the general public yet?

No, this won't be out for quite a few years. I don't think they have even chosen the batteries they will use. That's the major thing keeping this vehicle from going into production at this point.

Hmm, a bunch of kids HUGGING a car? How sticky sickening sweet can you get?
I find it interesting that it is a CHEVY Volt.
The EV-1 was leased through Saturn dealerships, but it was branded generically as "GM".
It's like last time around, General Motors didn't want an electric car associated with any of its particular car line-ups, but now the specifically chose a particular brand this time around.
Does this bode well or ill for the Volt?
