Is the civic vx engine a D15Z or D15Z1?

Hey all,

Just wondering if you guys know the difference between a D15Z1 engine and a D15Z engine.

I noticed on a civic vx, it only said D15Z and the 1 wasn't there. Maybe it just got rubbed off overtime.

Does anybody know?

I don't think "D15Z" is a complete engine code. D15Z1 is the 1992-1995 VX code (USA):

But there were several versions of the D15Z sub-series, it seems, at the global level:
