The sun is in control of everything 30 miles and up, settled science. And now control of the mesosphere is rightly contested.
Notice we don't hear "the sun doesn't effect the atmosphere" anymore.

'Climate' is limited to the troposphere.
If the Sun controls climate, look to warming of all solar system planets since 1850.

Correct!
We only hear ' the sun doesn't affect the climate.' ( beyond what has always been in the general circulation models since day-one )

Humans change their environment to better suit their needs/interests. When the natural environment changes, they engineer for that change or relocate.
