Bondo has recently focused on similar product, a kind of a box cavity for pickup trucks. I believe he did a crowdfunding campaign too. See his post here: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ote-35533.html

The new project looks cool, but any new on these caps. On the F150 forums there's lots of threads about how to improve mpg I refuse to believe theses wouldn't sell.

I can believe that an aero topper would not sell. My aero topper has been on the truck for almost seven years. In that time, a several dozen people have recognized what it does, and have seen the benefits of a lifting lid. A few (3 or 4) have asked where I bought it, under the impression that it was commercially built.
Nobody, not one person, has indicated a desire to have a similar topper on their truck. I contacted Leer at one time and asked about aero toppers. They said they had looked into it, and did not see a demand.

Your cap looks really nice, but you can't see out the back. I don't think I would be excited about not seeing out my back window either.

This was me thinking about VW Beetles again. The tip of the gray cone is visible where the windshield header and hoodline meet. It represents the view angle out the back of a big Beetle back window, not the baby window shown. The aerocap could follow Mair in plan with a vertical back edge.
More interior space, and new opportunities for side-opening

^ What happens when you use off-the-shelf windows (guessing) in a custom design? They could have at least faked integrating it with the topper's shape with black trim tape.

i see there’s a company in Michigan that now has a slant back top for Ford pickups. Pricey, but pretty cool looking.
I don’t have enough posts yet to include a link. Google “Ford pickup Mustang”.
