Parents 68th today. Gone, not forgotten (Ha! Look and act like them).

So I compromise with turbodiesel power and an even longer travel trailer (35’). But, . . . 15-mpg average while moving 8.5T. That’s the solo average for most guys with my pickup.
Central heat & air. Washer/dryer. Soon, a dishwasher. Four seasons of clothes. Etc. Economy is not just size. The combined rig purchase price was less than a new VW.
