Wife's Beetle

when i sold the wrecked tdi beetle... I kept the winglets and the rear receiver hitch rack!! just in case ya know... just in case!

I failed to mention that i have since bought another TDI Beetle. This one is a 2003 and the wife has claimed it as "HERS" and sworn me off of modifying it in any way. I did install LLR tires, light weight syn oils and a K+N. All of which she knows nothing about heh heh. :{

old beetle...retired

new to us beetle. Wife loves it! Got it out of Seattle Wa, from the original owner and 99k! Easily made the 11 hour trip over there with a buddy, test drove it, paid cash and drove it home to surprise the Wife! :{)

Now this sounds interesting... Even though I'd rather perform a tricycle conversion.

Whats the point of an expensive roof-mounted tent? Is there something magical about it vs buying a generic tent that can be put on the ground?

Bugs seem unavoidable. Moisture is a matter of concern...
