But aerodynamically, they are both awesome. If they do over 200mpg (72km/l = 203mpg!), then -- where can I buy one?!
I used this to convert to MPG :

ConvertIt.com Measurement Converter

But I "only* got 72 km/liter = 169 MPG !!!!!!!!

That would be in the range of what Aptera claims.

Hi,

I used a kewl little utility called Convert.

44.73873 miles (72km) \ 0.2641721 gallons (1l) = 169.35448520112456992998125085882mpg -- so you are right and I made a mistake....

Actually, that is better than what Aptera claims for their Hybrid, which is 130mpg. Remember too, that the VW "Liter" car can do 0.82l (IIRC) for 100km which equals ~280mpg!

I'd love to see millions on the road, yesterday! If I had one,I'd constuct a tadpole trailer for out-of-town trips.Funny, when people design for function, they arrive at remarkably similar results!Go Daihatsu go!

Very sharp looking vehicle. I still wonder why more cars don't still come with the rear wheel skirts; it doesn't seem they'd be too hard to make, nor hard to take off if designed well, and they improve mileage and reduce road noise. Form following marketing and function to the wind again, I guess.
