coroplast cold frame

I just built something Ive been dreaming of building for a long time. from a single 4x8 sheet of uv coroplast I made two 4 foot long mini row cold frames. I'll post up a pic in a day or so. I still need to work out a vent for each end.

I will also post a pic of a clay form for making newspaper seedling pots. I formed over 75 seedling pots but my wife took 25 of them to plant sunflowers with her grade 1 science class
!
that left me with 53 pots. I planted 3 types of pumpkins, three types of tomato, romanesco, purple cauliflower, pickling cucumbers, swiss chard, giant sunflowers and teddy bear sunflowers . I have some lettuce mix for the mini green house, and some spinich to plant in an uncovered bed.

A quonset ganzfeld for plants....

When you made the paper pots, do you use any adhesive on the paper? Just water?

no adhesive,i actually use a tabbing system. i roll the paper about 5 times to make a rim. then i wind the rim at the top of the mold. i spin the paper to fold it down into the tapered shape then press the excess paper into a small divot at the bottom. after i remove the mold i rip the rim near the end piece so that i can unroll a one inch section and i tuck it insde the pot. the soil holds the tab against the inside wall of the pot.

i just made twenty more today because i forgot to plant peppers.
this time i rolled some peatmoss into the rim and into he pot wall before i sealed it up. My last set of pots started to mold and i am afraid the seedling might be damping off.
