Oh, it was the 2012. Cowmeat is my dad, so the Volt that I drove was the one featured in this topic.

It seems like the Volt has gotten better over the years as far as the battery goes, which is good news.

I didn't put the cowmeat=dad thing together. Thanks for clarifying.

I let my son use mine for a trip. He likes it, but his 6'5" frame did not. His neck was aching after a long day behind the wheel.

Awesome to see Father and Son on the same site.

In other news, I get to work with my dad everyday, sometimes it can be challenging, but overall it is a blast!

Oh, right. Yeah, that wasn't really evident in my post.

I'm willing to bet, it probably would have felt a little tight had I been taller. I'm about 5'10", so it was perfect for me.

Traded in the Volt . . . I wish!

The CEO's new S P100D looks pretty sweet parked at work. You can see my old Insight peeking over the top of the hood. I'm going to see if he'll let me test drive it, although since it still has temporary tags he might be a little skittish

Nah, that's Turtle, my original silver Insight. My son owns it these days

Ron Burgundy pretty much just disappeared off the map. I thought I saw it over by Orlando one night but I was pretty far off and couldn't tell for sure. I was surprised nobody from Ecomodder or IC ended up with it

That Tesla will do 0-60 in 2.28 seconds! He hasn't tried it yet and I tried to talk him into it tonight but he wasn't going for it . . . once he gets the first door ding he'll lighten up I'm sure.

You know what you have to do.

I've ridden in a Model S 85 (which takes more than twice as long to get to 60 than the P100D), it was plenty quick enough to put a smile on my face.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP!

So they installed a 220 outlet in the parking lot at work this week so the CEO can charge his new Tesla when he drives up from West Palm. He only comes up about once every 6 weeks, so I asked if they'd mind if I charge the Volt with it when he's not here, and they said "yes", so now I find myself in need of a cheap 220 charger!

There's nothing better than not using gas and not having to pay for the electricity!
