I wasn't thinking much about fe this morning either, as my numbers showed

It was 34 degrees on my screen when I got in the car so on went the heated seat, heated steering wheel and defroster at "high" temp and fan speed! And my foot was on the gas pedal the whole trip so I could get into the office!

I'm not gonna complain because the cold snap stunted the grass growth so I don't have to mow as much now

You have a heated steering wheel? That's awesome.

It's raining today so my wife helped me make the EM logo for my license plate surround on her Cricut.
Thanks for sending me the file, Darin. It turned out really good and the Volt will now be sporting the Ecomodder name!

Is that a vinyl label that was added to the frame?

Yeah, it's adhesive vinyl that we made by taking the Ecomodder PDF into the Cricut program and cutting out a 2-part design, one with the green logo and the other with the white letters. It was actually kind of fun after I figured out the Cricut program (which btw is not very user friendly)

I bought the black chrome plated frame from Amazon - link is below:

I redid the green logo after I realized I had the wrench turned the wrong way - looks way more legit now. The black chrome looks good with the black on the car and makes the logo stand out

I noticed this morning that my January fuel log looks a whole lot like the weather graph for Tampa Bay

I'm not sure that would affect the Volt since I drive almost exclusively in EV mode

It's probably burning through a little juice to keep the battery warm. Plus I run the heated seats and steering wheel for a couple of minutes and I also keep the defroster on real low so the windshield stays clear
