At least the pickup commercials are reduced? (I don't know; been largely without tv for a few years now). I vividly recall the '90s and early-mid '00s where every 7 minutes I was deluged with full-sized pickup ads and I remember thinking there must be an awful lot of people with an awful lot of ginormous stuff to cart around...

Sansa Clip.
The most useless piece of junk I currently own, and I own a ZX81.
Have some music playing, want to change the equalizer. Press home to get to the settings menu - whole thing freezes. Resets once, change settings, turn off to save. Won't turn back on.
0/10.

Update to above - the MP3's I have are apparently "too good" a quality for the 'clip so it struggles. I re-encoded them with CDEX and all my MP3's were reduced to half their size. Did this fix it ? Well kind of. It would work for about 30 seconds and then fail.
0/10 again. Avoid as it is a waste of money.
I will go to spain without my choice of music it seems.

My boss has swapped his Crew-cab Hilux for an Auris Hybrid which he thinks is great.
Wonder how long it will last.

My neighbor (he's actually my Wife's brother-in-law) leaves for work in the morning: Open garage door, reverse out into driveway, turn the car around by going back and forth 9 to 17 times, get out of car, close garage door, open driveway gate, drive out of gate, get out of car, close gate, drive onto street. My Wife sometimes carpools with him, so we wait for him in the morning and open his driveway gate before he starts the car. With the gate already open he backs out of the garage straight onto the street and closes the garage door and gate at the same time, with no back-and-forth-ing umpteen times in the driveway, saving at least 1 minute and who know how much fuel. We can't understand why he can't open the gate himself when he opens his garage door - it's only 6 meters (20ft) away?

Service (telephone) providers that *require* a credit check to start new service at a new home, even though I've been a customer of theirs for over 15 years.
I don't want anyone to touch my credit report unless I agree with the need... like, say, getting a mortgage for a new home. The phone company certainly doesn't qualify. And the zombies on the other end couldn't come up with a good reason either... other than "it's company policy". And they couldn't come up with any 'workaround'.
Fine... "We're done. Goodbye." There are other alternatives that I can choose from (thank you, free market! Well, as free as it can be, anyway.)

I'm somewhat annoyed by this bunch of so-called hypermilers taking umbrage at the time-honored hyermiling technique of making wide, smooth turns, in order to maintain momentum and thereby save fuel. (When conditions permit, yada blah.) I can't help it if somebody put a traffic light trip thingie there...
