That reminds me of another daily annoyance - banksters, and the fraudsters who rate them.

Wasting 14 liters (3.7 US gal) of fuel driving to a bike trip and returning home the next day without even taking the bikes out of the car. The reason was the same as why we didn't go on a planned hiking trip: terrible weather.

It annoys me when I see Shell sponsor a 'future car' race for fuel efficiency and has cars such as this classified as a " car ".

Am I the only one that see's a joke behind this ?? It looks like a rolling condom !

It doesn't surprise me though. After all, they wouldn't want anyone to look at electric and highly fuel efficient cars as truly practical !

Daily annoyances

Stop lights that are automated to cycle on and off, even though no car trips them. It drives me mad to go threw those fuel eating lights.
We have 2 4-way stop signs in a row followed by that nasty traffic light that has me sitting waiting for the imaginary cars to flow past..
needless to say I take the longer low road home and keep my momentum going. Thats my daily annoyance .

Mine is traffic lights that aren't automated, but have sensors that detect only large, heavy, mostly steel cars, but not motorcycles or aluminum-bodied cars like my Insight - to say nothing of bicycles :-(

I have a written complaint in about my local park & ride where the lights are triggered by birds, insects, the wind, ghosts...
