Database error / Can't access
Can't access User CP or my Member profile page. I get a "database error" message that says "The EcoModder.com database has encountered a problem." I can post (obviously). I can look at my vehicles, too.

Same here. I don't get any popular threads on the home page either.

Sorry about that... figures it would happen when I take a long weekend, incommunicado.
Anyway, it turns out the error notifications I normally get were also disabled by the MySQL seizure, so I wouldn't have known about it anyway!
Fixed as of about 9.30 this AM.
On the upside, my mini vacation was very nice. Ignorance is bliss!

Outage yesterday
Some of you may have noticed the forum outage that started yesterday late morning (EST).
It affected the entire site.
Fortunately, this time Tim and I WERE automatically alerted by email (I'm STILL getting hundreds of emails an hour, it built up such a huge queue), so we got in touch with the hosting company pronto.
We were back online a few hours later. But we haven't heard what caused the problem this time. In the past it's sometimes been an innocuous thing like a logfile that ate up all the disk space... we'll see.
