Results are in this tank I achieved 38mpg which is 2 mpg over my last tank. Now I can't say the whole 2 mpg increase is due to the p/s because I also took off my mud flaps

Removing my power steering was the last thing that helped me eek out an extra 3mpg to achieve my best tank ever at 50 tank mpg. Otherwise, I noticed a 2-3 mpg overall increase in mpg with no power steering.

Did i avoid parallel parking like the plague? Sure I did. But also taking the ps out made driving more enjoyable because the steering feel felt more direct, less floaty.
