Take it to an auto store (AutoZone, O'Reillys, etc.) and have them read the OBDI codes. Then do what the codes indicate.

will do, thanks for the advice you guys.
I just noticed the exhaust pipe (right after the headers) isn't making full contact causing an exhaust leak. ima get that fixed.
i was also thinking of changing my fuel injectors and the cap & rotor? maybe that might help. I know people that drive like maniacs and even they get better gas milage, which is disappointing..

Its likely since its a 93 the commonly available tool cant pull any codes. I believe all dealers have a code reader for pre odb2 cars, but those are few and far between. A lot of cars have an alternative blink code system. Now if it has a check engine light, you could try checking it for power as the check engine light maybe disabled or burned out.

Yeah, an alignment can scrub your mpg a few. Also a worn wheel bearing, sticking brakes, etc.

When I was a mechanic and it came to automatics it was that. A dirty automatic that ran ok, dont bother the fluid. You change the fluid, you wash away the crap holding it together on the inside and it started to slip. You got a dirty transmission that doesnt shift right, you can improve the performance by changing it and or adding the lucas transmission additive.

With that said, some cars might still have a filter and need to have the fluid changed. Others might not.
Yeah with a sealed transmission like some CVTs that's fine but on just a regular auto when you're having transmission issues and you refuse to even check not so much.

Are you comparing your on car mileage to real world miles?

Aka, when my Mustang goes "100 miles" I have traveled about 102. It's not much, but with a gps/google.maps one can easily rule it out without spending money.
