i started my skirts yesterday. siliconed 2 sheets of cloroplast together to widen them and add strength. will cut to size, fasten aluminum flat bar to the lower brackets after i make them next. will try to use stainless for the bolts/screws.

no i don't. i'm a newbie and didn't figure it would be worth looking at. the only thing i posted about so far was the grille block.

I wouldn't use either, personally. I wouldn't want anything resting on the outside paint to prevent it damaging the paint.
Also, I wonder how important that level of detail is at the back of the car where the boundary layer is already fairly thick. (It's already 30 mm thick at the trailing edge of the roof of the Mitsu Lancer Evo with the VG's for example.)
