Do Bots Lurk?

What's Going On? Currently Active Users: 938 (4 members and 934 guests)
In the last 24 hours I've seen members as low as 2 (and one was me) while guests has been in the 850-950 range. Where did everyone go? With no new content why no decrease?
Freaks me out. Is anyone out there?
Also, Slashdot was the OG aggregator, but recently they've been running so many ads it crashes my browser.
I guess that times change.

I dunno, it's a the middle of a 3 day weekend, late in the day, everybody here is trying to go someplace else not smoky......
I didn't pay that much attention even during the aerohead julian kerfluffel.
Or I have been taken over by a bot......nope, but maybe one can wish...

But to what end? One bot could scrape the entire site and sort the registered users into 'categories'.
Wouldn't influencers have to post?
I did post a picture of a finned aluminum brake drum and Speedway has been following me all over the Web since, especially Slashdot. But I visited their site to do that.

Yes, they could but would they then share that information with every other organization running bots to scrape information? |
