Well, on Brazil a lot of us have a old tradition of demoralize our own country.
And honestly... nearly everything here sucks.
Brazil it's rich in potential, resources, but our culture it's like designed to lead to failure.

For you from USA may be difficult to understand, since americans use USA flag even as decoration for cakes and underwear, and people to eot a good impression among other use quotes like "God bless america".

But I recognize USA people have dark sides. Religion and patriotic fanatism, alienation, consumism, contradictory morality. With exception of patriotism brazilians have these too.
