Add me to the "sort of" column. I like anything that would make it functional, but depending on the vehicle it should at least look like it sorta-kinda belongs there. For most of my cars I'd definitely try to make it look good, however something like my old '88 Comanche work truck or my beater '86 T-Bird would get a probably less than finished piece (they both looked like hell to begin with!).

Well, that's the thing when it comes to aero... Form is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) factors that dictate function

Aerodynamic shapes can be both functional and beautiful.

I voted absolutely - that doesn't mean that I favor designing a box with rounded corners (I'm looking at you, Toyota - stop injecting it as popular )... Better than a box with corners, but still far from optimal

It does, but I've found that I can learn to like just about anything that delivers what I want in terms of price and performance.

I voted absolutely for the same(?) reason. I have a specific aesthetic, but I know it is outside the mainstream. My *subjective* aesthetic is very specific to what I want my car to look like. It must be the LA in me.

I want a functional aesthetic that is balanced against my off-mainstream tastes.

I voted "sort of". When I designed my mods, I wanted them to look presentable. And as for the car as a whole, I do like the styling of GM cars of that era. I think an important thing is to like what you drive.

Wow, that is really cool. Trebuchet, do you know where you found that? I'm also interested in the smaller "car".

Looks like it was taken at Bonneville. Is that the drag coefficient listed on the side of the truck? Imagine what great mileage big rigs would get if they all looked like that. But where's the engine?

Even though I know my TDI looks completely ugly with its areomods, but since I'm not ready to go all out with duct tape, I have to call it sort of.
