It's solar powered. Bought a small sailing dinghy for $375. Naples Sabot, complete with daggerboard, rudder, mast, boom, sails, and hull of course.
It's probably 25 years old, one piece fiberglass hull, with mahogany rails and seats.

Should be fossil fuel free fun, just need to add some floatation. Time for some aerosol expanding foam under the seats. It would almost work as a shell for the Ranger. The Newport News reservoir is just 6 miles away. Plenty of places to sail and the whole rig weighs 95 pounds, don't need any trailer for that.

Fun! Going to post a pic?

A year ago yesterday a buddy and I were dinghy sailing on the mighty St Lawrence River - my earliest ever here in Ontario. (We actually sailed through a skin of ice in one bay, which was fun.)

Thought I was out a month ago while I was visiting the west coast.

Picking it up Monday. Sold two of my 5 motorcycles this week. Now I have some room in the garage (35X21 feet). It's actually in very nice shape, the PO stored it under his porch and kept the accessories in his garage.

I'll get some pics soon.
