if Superchow is st6ill around, maybe he could enlighten us as to what he means by lackluster performance during the summer? It may simply be because he is using the AC which is sucking out the available HP and he hasn't considered that yet.

I know this is an old post but I could see dry ice used in performance engines for 1/4 mile drags. For a car with a turbo, you could pack the dry ice around the inter-cooler to help condense the air more (don't put the ice inside the intake). The only thing I'm not sure of is how much it would help. I do know that the performance gain would be more than the added weight if it is done right. You might also need to instal some sort of a drain for condensation build up inside the inter-cooler.
