This is a great project. I had an old friend talked into buying one. Then one time I rode with him 150 or so miles on the highway. We were cruising pretty fast, i'd say around 80mph and we still averaged 40mpg.

On another note, you bought the best color.

Thanks man, they are great cars!

I have an update today!

I made some very temporary upper grill blocks to see how my cars temp will respond in this 102F madness.

Here is a pic!

so have you done any testing on these things ?
if not, Id get on it soon, I wouldnt bother testing each mod individually, but as an entire package. maybe do both a solid A-B-A test and a coast down test.

You might even see lower temps with the upper grill block? Sometimes the larger lower inlet overpowers the upper and air comes *out* of the upper opening? Is there a baffle between the chin spoiler and the radiator? Or is it open?

Hey, that looks pretty sharp. What did you use, coroplast?
If you painted it black, it'd be fairly stealthy.
Like Neil is hinting at, some baffles between the bumper and radiator could help. You might even be able to partially block that HUGE lower opening.
