Well it was a beautiful day but we are getting 10 inches of snow tomorrow. I decided to take the trike out on the driveway and test everything before putting it away for the next three months. Everything works great so I should not have to do anything else to it for a long while. Here is a video and some pictures just before I put it away.

I realy like the eco exo. I read about it alot some time ago. Also as an eco trike. Like putting on a smooth hull around it. And also thinking about hybrid it. With a realy small generator to keep up the battaries while driving.
But you have a realy nice biuld there. Nicely done. And it put a smile on my face to see one here on ecomodder.
Are you planning more eco mods. Or are you keeping i as is?

Thanks for the compliment. With the Photon headlights and the last little changes I did I will probably keep it just the way it is.
While adding enclosures will help the mileage some you would lose some of the fun factor that I did not want to lose.

I like your trike, I hadn't even heard of those but probably because they are rarer in the US then 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertables. This thing begs and Elio comparison, sorry! From what I can tell this must have cost more then $7000. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great and is worth it. What I don't see is how Elio can enclose the cabin, built it for you, add A/C and heat, a power window, use all new drivetrains, get better economy and sell it for less. Elio's claims I'm sure are hurting the company that is making the Exo. With all their advertising and free press they are poisoning the marketplace for real manufacturers out there.

Yes, using the best parts on a one off custom build gets costly. I have close to 15K in mine so it adds up fast. I have driven many vehicles in my past but this one tops the fun factor. It was worth every cent I put into it.
I have a hard time believing the Elio will ever be produced and if so there will not be the market after the 40,000 or so get delivered. If they do not get the government loan I think they are dead in the water. Just my thoughts after following them since they started.
All I know is I am enjoying mine while I am still alive and can drive
