What is the worst-case scenario on that car? The hood needs to be painted, but otherwise the exterior looks good.
What is the shell worth?
If I left now and hurried I could get to North Phoenix, buy the car, and check into a hotel room to do teletherapy for 3 clients. Then I would want to stay overnight so I am not driving when the elk come out.
Honestly, I am surprised the ad is still up, and people closer than me would have a few hours to beat me to it.
It sounds too good to be true, like this lady that was chatting with me on-line.

Running, driving, and allegedly verified safe $600 2000 Civic in Phoenix
There aren't any plates and it looks like it is in front of a business, which suggests it was repossessed and the company is getting rid of it, but I don't recall ever seeing a tow company claim a mechanic inspect the vehicle.
Is this a business posing as a private party?
Is the rest of the ad legitimate?
They said they are accepting the best offer on Saturday. I doubt that anyone will offer a mere $600, but this might be a good deal:

1998 manual Civic DX project car near Phoenix for $1,200
It runs and drives, has 260,000 miles, and has some modifications, but this could be good for someone!
