You're placed oddly.

I had the opposite problem. Mostly manuals but when i would drive an automatic, as i was approaching a stop/parking spot etc. I "pressed the clutch pedal down" with my left foot. You know what happens when you do that with an automatic. Ba-dunk goes my head onto the steering wheel
But i've grown out of this problem.

I have screeched to a halt when I tried to use the clutch in an automatic, but I have never hit my head on the steering wheel.
I guess that I do not know what I am missing...

I have 12 1/2 EEEEEE feet, usually hit the go pedal when applying brakes in small cars. How are you people hitting the brake pedal with your clutch pedal foot?

In cars with ATs, the brake pedal is really wide.

It is not in the same position, it is just the closest pedal to the one that should be there, at least for me.

But when you're running out of first gear your body knows it's time for the left foot to stab. The wide brake pedal isn't so wide that your left foot can hit it accidentally, but it's wide enough that it's easy to hit with the left. And when your left foot knows it's time to hit a pedal, it's doing it. Any course corrections required are so minor that your foot can handle them on its own without any conscious thought or effort on your part.

2005 Toyota Prius northwest of Phoenix $1,400
It is only partway to Las Vegas!
How many things are wrong with it? There are some stains on the seats and the front bumper doesn't match. This is encouraging:

Some lights on the dash turned on last week so I took the car in & don’t want to spend the money to fix it. The major issue is the ABS actuator.
Car still runs fine & doesn’t give me any issues other than burning through oil & the trunk doesn’t stay open on its own anymore.
|
Heck! It has 300,000 miles!
Major issue? I would look up the ABS actuator, but burning through oil is a big red flag.
I do not are about the trunk. A strut needs to be replaced?
Let's talk about burning oil. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/c...120338270.html

Can you cobble together one running Metro from all of that?
