I was joking too, even though a Suzuki engine swap into a Beetle might be interesting to say the least. Just to remind, Volkswagen EA827 swaps into Beetles and other air-cooled Volkswagens in my country are quite common.

Sometimes I lurk about fitting a Volkswagen air-cooled engine into some newer vehicle, and a Swift is newer enough

On a sidenote, I have already considered the possibility of adapting an early Suzuki Vitara body into a modified Beetle chassis.
