The EM Garage is too big

for my cell phone, that is

There's been several occasions when I've wanted to update my gas log and my only web connection is on my interwebs enabled phone. I get as far as the first EM garage page and the list of vehicles overloads my phone's browser's memory so I can never actually get to the log entry page.

I hear the Garage is being worked on, so hows about multiple pages to keep my phone's browser alive?

I'd love to see a whole mobile interface, but one step at a time

Pagination, searchability, "browseability" & sorting by make is all coming. I can't say when though. A friend of Ben's is doing the work. Ask him

I thought of that within 10 seconds of hitting Post Of course I was attempting to post all this at a time when all I had was my phone (company network had a bad switch).

I can get to my car's page, but we'll see what happens when I attempt to update it next (next week?). Can't wait to see the new garage!

How bizarre...how bizarre!

When I updated my fuel log earlier today, I was thinking about this very topic. Glad I searched and found this thread instead of starting another.

I've had ideas about the garage section in the past. I'll try to remember what ideas I had and try to pass along.

Thanks as always for the work you moderators do to keep this site rolling

Just as an update, I talked to our programmer last night at it seems like we continue to march toward garage 2.0.

Ive noticed that too, trying to load the main garage page crashes the browser on my dialup connection at home. So I also had made shortcuts to my fuel logs. Either that, or I go to a thread that I posted in, and click there to get to my fuel log.

Looking at the ID numbers of my cars, it appears that the number of garage entries has basically tripled since I started here in June. Its only a good thing, raising awareness about the site and its activities.

I just posted about the garage search function over at:
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post115127

But, with all the buzz about the search, I had almost forgotten about this garage size issue.

I was wondering if it is possible to only list fuel log entries from the past "xx" number of days to start. That would make it a lot quicker/smaller page to load initially.

Then, somehow in addition to the search feature(which is awesome), a button/bar could be added for the ability to see either all garage entries or some set time frame(like past 30, 90, 180, etc days).

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL THE MODERATORS WHO DO A GREAT JOB WITH THIS FORUM!!!
