Red face Don't be Shy

DPoV, or any of you other truck guys,
You have no reason to be self conscious or ashamed of your vehicle.
Some of you are getting the same mileage in your trucks with tons of frontal area, and large motors, as my wife in her Avalon.
She tries, but, I think she has reached a plateau.
It is not what you drive,
It's how you drive it.
DPoV is 28% over EPA.
Thats pretty darn good in my book.
Go and be proud of your accomplishment.
Well that's my 11.5 cents. [adjusted for recession]

Eric: any word if the GM EV1 is going to be there again? (My bet is: not if the Chevy Volt is going to be there )

Question Are you on the Frappr?

Hey Ankit,
3.5 hours eh?
west, north or south?
I'm headed west in three weeks to visit relatives, a stopover after three or so hours on the road would be quite a nice break.
PM me or email, so far I think you're the closest to my ocean.
Maybe you need a break and always wanted to taste the real salt water.
C Ya,
S.

3.5 hours West, I'm in Lynchburg. Maybe you've heard of it, Jerry Falwell's town. I sent you that PM because I thought you wanted to drive halfway or something and meet, I didn't know you were going to be in the area anyways.

D-oh! missed this reply the first time around. Sorry!

We are working on getting the EV1 there. The team who owns it said no guarantees, but they'll try. GM has said a volt is unlikely (dang!).

We would really like to have a ecomodders section in the owners display area as well as at least one ecomodding presentation on the speakers stage.

Let's keep this discussion going!

Anyone else thinking about flying in? Carpooling from Airport?

Just think that if enough people flew in we could rent like a V-10 Excursion, or a Hummer and still get Decent MPG's/ Person

I personally JUST thought about going, lots of things to check out before committing/ rejecting a trip.
