With about 10,000 warheads of various sorts, not going to be much left useable if they all go off. I refer you to the dinosaur extinction event of -65mill years ago, and that was just one (or possibly 2) cockroach evolution anyone?

I find it strange that some people, many even, think that humanity will accidentally go extinct. We're not like the other creatures that accidentally went extinct, because we uniquely develop meaning (or lack of it) and cary out intention. Our demise will be intentional.

Reminds me of the Anthrax documentary I watched last night. The first thought everyone had was that someone had inhaled anthrax from the wilderness. Reporters asked if the deceased "was a hunter?". Our first instinct was accidental, and only after more bodies with the same lineage started turning up did we finally realize it was a malicious attack.

... and that reminds me that there's still a high probability that Covid was lab-grown. I wouldn't go as far as believing it was maliciously released, but point out that anyone with access to it could have spread it maliciously.

As technology continues to enhance human capability, the destruction an individual or small group possesses will multiply.

The outdoor thermostat isn't going to catch me off-guard, but Covid had me flat on my back for 3 days and I lost 5 lbs. Just imagine what someone with bad intention could achieve.

With so many "official" attempts to silence real scientists and other people who say it's lab-grown, it's easier to believe it was in fact lab-grown.

David Brower, serria club president:
"Childbearing [should be] a punishable crime against society, unless the parents hold a government license… All potential parents [should be] required to use contraceptive chemicals, the government issuing antidotes to citizens chosen for childbearing."
Then everyone in the room stood put their arm up chanted "sieg heil".

Typical -- the chosen ones can't just not take the chemicals.

You think the anti-humanists have any friends (not just business partners)? Clearly only a fool would form a relationship with someone who despises humanity. You keep them at a distance where their mad rants dissipate before reaching you.
