Or you are brain washed by the government because the hho works and lets see 100 ft of vacume line making the engine work harder take it of at the tb and that is less vCard you have to make. All the evap does is collect vapors bif whoop

Did you blank off or just disconnect the evap?

Im interested in seeing your data, as from your other post, your CAI reduced your fuel consumption roughly by a 1/2 and disconnecting the evap reduced it by another 1/3. Which in total, is a 2/3 reduction of your original fuel consumption from these mods.

*calculated from the 10-11mpg with CAI stated in your post, 5-6mpg before CAI fitted and now 15-16mpg with a disconnected evap.

Please note, I have not been "brain washed by the government" and as such I am somewhat sceptical of your claims, which are not backed up.

could just disconnect your purge valve's electrical connector, assuming the purge valve isnt leaking, this should accomplish the same thing. and possibly isolate the change from other vacuum lines, or changes in un metered air entering your engine.

cars long before 96 had evap systems. might not have consisted of much more than a gas cap, the canister, and a vacuum line hooked up to ported vacuum on a carburetor, but they had evap systems

since 1971 according to wki

i have two questions for you sir;

1;why should we prove what your saying is true(most modern evap systems only work on start up; to produce easier start up; the gas vapors come from the tank)

and 2; you put 33's on your truck did you change the speedo gear/sensor(because i doubt they are stock for your truck; and it's more then likely why your truck is not telling you the right distance you've traveled)

ps. most of your posts are in the unicorn corral.
