I lived /worked in the Caribbean briefly, and the Accord was the car I bought after I returned to Canada -- the first "non-beater" car I'd ever had. (Meaning, even though it was 10 years old, it didn't need body work or mechanical repairs to put it on the road.)

What a scary rats nest of vacuum lines under the hood though! Fortunately never had any problems there.

This was in my pre-modding years -- aside from putting some VX rims on it (because I liked the way they looked), and driving it relatively efficiently, I hadn't yet had that epiphany.

Ha!! I had an 87 Accord for a while!! I rebuilt the carb because something was wrong with it, I had to adjust the throttle cable to keep it at a high idle, otherwise it would stall. When I took the old one out....it was flat out missing the idle air adjustment screw. I put the rebuilt in and it ran like a champ again. Mine was light blue and I had it I think around 2000.

Sumpin exactly like dis one.

I had an Accords 1977,1977, 1978, 1984 and 1987. I was rear ended in the '84, pushed me into the car in front, thus Honda Accordion.
