I took this picture in 2014, when I stopped for gas in Cedar Flat.

Ferrari 458 IIRC.

Exotic cars are pretty common around the Portland area - at least compared to anyplace else I've lived. In the 2 hours my wife and I were at the dealership buying our latest used car (2011 Acura TSX Sportwagen) 4 or 5 Lamborghinis and Ferraris zipped by the dealership getting into the throttle off the light next to the dealership. Porsches are an everyday sighting.

Yup. I’m so desensitized to exotic cars in Portland now. When I was younger, I’d freak out if I saw a lambo or mcclaren. Now I’m like “ meh”

And here in the “ silicon forest” part of Portland, don’t even get me started on how many teslas and Audi e tron and Porsche tay cans I see every day

I'm on the west side of the metro and it is a steady stream of electric cars in and out of the Intel plants.

When I was little my barber and my ‘diction’ teacher were both on King Street. As we would head home from those encounters I would always be sure to look right to catch a glimpse of a red car parked on a side street. Later in life I identified it as a 300SL Gullwing. Right there in my dinky little town.
