and very much yes to the UrQuattro

Yep, I know. Of course you would want a merlin with FI so it didn't stall when upside down...

Oh hang on...

I believe the fellow who built the meteor engined SD1 above also set it up to have fuel injection.. so that exisits in principal, and no dounbt a bit of creative ramp placing could achieve the upside down bit

I can't say that any high performance cars impress me, they are all about what can be done with lots of power and lots of money. I would use only a fraction of the money one of those things cost and modify my Yaris with a full boat tail areo package, to get the Cd down to 0.20 or less. install a positraction diff and call it good. I could cruze all day at 160km/hr/100mph and still get better than 60mpg. Now thats high performance!

S4's are awesome, but I have a thing for the Audi. And no, not the sport. I like the long body on the UrQuattro.

Aerodynamics aside? Mini Cooper (the original one)
Unlimited funds? Turn it into parallel hybrid
Still have some $$$ left over? Shorten my legs so I fit in the Mini

A man with taste. It has to be the 970s Saloon Car special though.

There were factory (or at least original accessory) brackets available to lower the steering column and other ones to move the seat further back. If thats not enough just take out the front seats and sit on the back one - sorted.

meh, beetles are cooler, and you can occasionally find one that even has metal to weld too. a 970 on SU's isnt really a guzzler either?

I like small, light cars, so I'd have a hard time damning FE! I can't count either!

Lotus Elise/Exige
Caterham Seven
Datsun 240Z
Nissan Skyline KPGC10 (I'd settle for a 2-door 510)
1984-87 CRX
Suzuki Samurai
Honda Beat
Suzuki Cappuccino
Mazda AZ-1/Suzuki Cara
Mercedes Unimog

Honorable mention:
DeTomaso Pantera
Ford RS2000
Any other Groub B rally car
Suzuki Swift GTi
Suzuki Mighty Boy
Opel GT
Toyota MR2
Honda S2000
Mazda Miata
Acura NSX

I'd like a 6.2L diesel rat rod too.
