Just FYI the Ferrari F-40 isn't a very practical family car.

'38 Buick Y-Job. Can't buy one; it'd have to be built.

Chevrolet Astro show Corvair. That would have to be built too.

Porsche Speedster replica- yes, I'd rather have that than the real thing. Hop it up with a modern drivetrain, perhaps diesel.

American Austin/American Bantam. Just because they are sooo cute! I suppose I should try to get in one first though...

As long as I'm dreaming, I'll take a Pillbug please.

Early Lancia Stratos. Probably doesn't really belong in my Top 5 list but I've always liked the styling.

I love movie cars/trucks so my list would be (in no particular order):
1. Transformers Optimus Prime Peterbilt

2. Bandit Trans Am

3. Ford Falcon from the Road Warrior

4. Eleanore from the 2000 release of Gone in 60 Seconds.

5. The Dobbertin Surface Orbiter (not from a movie but one heck of a cool idea, I don't think it exists anymore however)

Anorak factoid - Austin had the parts of models made overseas (e.g. French and German built 7s) changed or produced in mirror image so that they couldn't be sold in the UK and undercut his own parts business.

You lot are not trying hard enough!

I can only think of 2 off the top of my head..

Blower Bentley-

Supercharger and Cable operated barakes FTW!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Rover SD1

fitted with a 27L rolls Royce Meteor engine, although I'd fit the Merlin supercharged version instead (as used in the spitfire!)

NO regard to FE? I've got some really off-the-wall ones for you guys in that case.

1. BMW M coupe. Not M3, M. Z3 M coupe if you want to get technical. Preferrably with the S54B32, but I don't care about engine near as much as wanting it in Evergreen. I've always loved the "long nose with hatchback type passenger area" look.

2. Isuzu Vehicross. Must be yellow. I can't explain this one. On the rare cases when I see one, I just.........want.

3. Audi Quattro. That is to say, Ur-Quattro, the original, primordial, ancestral quattro. I've seen 3 in my life.

4. Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. I'm not a convertible guy, really.

5. 1989 Ford/Ghia "Via" Concept:

That is nice, although I think he got his from a tank instead of a Spitfire.

Not a Quattro Sport ?

Or a Lancia Delta S4 (which was faster - Supercharger and Turbocharger...)

Or maybe a Peugeot version ?

The bit at 3:30 where Vatanen steers one handed whilst sheilding his eyes is a classic...
