I do like the Fiat, although it is a bit too "designy" for my taste. The original 1957 version designed by Dante Giacosa was all about making the car as low cost as possible, for example they had very little loss of material during production due to the design of the doors, panels etc.

One feature I really like in the original Fiat Nuova 500 (the older one was known as "Topolino") is the rear engine. That seems also better for a city-commuter like the 500e...
